Summer 2026 is turning out to be a rough one: first an outbreak of a parasite causing explosive diarrhea, then a potentially catastrophic Ebola outbreak, and now Salmonella. According to the FDA, Midwest Poultry Services L.P. is voluntarily recalling 1,589,577 dozen eggs (over 19 million eggs) due to possible Salmonella Enteritidis contamination.
