Danny Glover Reveals Alzheimer's Diagnosis

Legendary actor Danny Glover, best known for playing Roger Murtaugh in the 'Lethal Weapon' franchise, has publicly revealed that he has been living with Alzheimer's disease for several years. In an interview with former NBC anchor Lester Holt, the 79-year-old star shared that his speech, movements, and memory have slowed, but he remains active and optimistic.

Glover said he is taking each day as it comes and understands that as the disease progresses, changes are inevitable. 'I'm sure as it advances, things are going to be different and changing,' he stated. The actor emphasized that he continues to engage in physical and mental activities to slow the process.

Danny Glover became a pop culture icon thanks to the 'Lethal Weapon' series, where his character famously said, 'I'm too old for this s**t.' However, his career extends well beyond that role: he starred in 'The Color Purple,' 'Predator 2,' and many other films.
