90 Day Fiancé Star Armando Rubio Pleads for DHS Help

Immigration attorney for Armando Niedermeier-Rubio, star of the reality show "90 Day Fiancé," has made a public appeal to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other officials. He is requesting emergency assistance so Armando can reunite with his husband and daughter during a devastating family medical crisis.

Attorney Kelsey Zubkoff stated that Armando is urgently seeking to be reunited with his U.S. citizen spouse, Kenny Niedermeier, and his lawful permanent resident daughter, Hannah, who is receiving critical care in the ICU at a Phoenix hospital. The girl was airlifted from Mexico after suffering a brain bleed, and doctors have yet to determine the cause.

According to the attorney, Armando is pursuing the lawful spousal visa process and is asking the Department of Homeland Security, the appropriate U.S. Embassy or consulate, or any other agency to expedite review of his pending case. While that request is under consideration, they are also inquiring whether emergency humanitarian parole or other lawful temporary relief may be available given the extraordinary medical circumstances.

Zubkoff also pushed back against misinformation circulating online, clarifying that Armando did not overstay an authorized period of admission in the United States. She emphasized: "This family is not asking to bypass the law—they are asking for compassion, urgency, and consideration of every lawful avenue available during an extremely serious family emergency."

As previously reported, Hannah was airlifted to Phoenix after suffering a brain bleed. Armando tearfully revealed that doctors still do not know what caused the bleeding and that she is undergoing more extensive testing. It was also reported that Armando was turned away when he attempted to cross the U.S.-Mexico border to be with his daughter, while Kenny rushed from Ohio to her bedside.
