Amber Rose Sues Club Over Ornament Falling on Her Head
American model and TV personality Amber Rose has filed a lawsuit against the private club Gravitas in Beverly Hills. The reason is an incident that occurred on New Year's Eve 2024: a massive decorative ornament suspended from the ceiling fell on her head.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Rose was at the club when one of the "solid, oversized decorative spheres" detached from its mounting and struck her on the head. The impact was so strong that the model briefly lost consciousness.
After the incident, Amber experienced headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, confusion, and neck pain. She went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where doctors diagnosed a serious hematoma, neck injury, and other trauma.
The lawsuit states that her physical, mental, and emotional symptoms persist, negatively affecting her daily life. Rose's lawyers argue that the incident occurred due to the club's negligence in ensuring visitor safety.
Amber Rose is known not only as a model but also as a reality TV star, actress, and entrepreneur. She has frequently been in the media spotlight due to her public life and outspoken comments. Now her name is in the news again, this time in connection with a legal battle.
The lawsuit is filed on grounds of negligence, and the amount of damages sought is undisclosed. The case is expected to draw attention to safety issues at upscale venues, where such decorative elements are often used to create a festive atmosphere.
Representatives for Gravitas have not yet commented on the situation. Experts note that such lawsuits often end in a settlement, but if the case goes to trial, it could set a precedent for similar incidents.
