Anthony Davis Sells LA Home for $32M

Anthony Davis, NBA star and player for the Washington Wizards, has sold his luxurious Los Angeles mansion for $32 million. The property, located in the prestigious Bel Air Crest neighborhood, was listed last year for $40 million, and the deal finally closed.

The 17,254-square-foot mansion is a true palace with eight bedrooms. Inside, there's an elevator, home theater, game room, wet bar, wine cellar, gym, barber shop, and even a tennis court. Outside, you'll find an outdoor chef's kitchen, an Olympic-sized pool, and a batting cage.

The sale closed on Thursday, with the buyer represented by Jacob Dadon of Carolwood Estates, while Jordan Cohen of RE/MAX ONE held the listing. For Davis, this marks a farewell to a home he purchased during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he became an NBA champion in 2020.

Davis's recent seasons have been eventful: in February 2025, he was traded from the Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks in a deal for Luka Dončić, and in February 2026, he moved to the Washington Wizards. Now, his primary residence will likely be closer to the capital.

For the Los Angeles real estate market, this deal is another sign that celebrity homes remain a liquid asset, even if the seller no longer plays for a local team. The buyer gets not just a house, but a ready-made infrastructure for entertainment and sports.
