Celeste Rivas' Family Can't Understand Why D4vd Used Chainsaw
The family of Celeste Rivas is still struggling to come to terms with the shocking allegations against musician D4vd. Family attorney Patrick Steinfeld told TMZ that loved ones simply can't understand why the artist would allegedly use a chainsaw on their 'beautiful girl.'
Steinfeld spoke to reporters outside the courthouse on Wednesday after another emotional day of testimony in D4vd's preliminary hearing. He said Celeste's relatives remain 'disheartened and broken,' searching for answers they may never get.
The attorney emphasized that the family cannot comprehend why D4vd would allegedly mutilate Celeste's body after killing her. 'They can't understand why D4vd would take a chainsaw to their beautiful girl,' he said.
Despite the heartbreaking testimony, Steinfeld noted that Wednesday was actually a better day than Tuesday, when graphic crime scene photos left Celeste's mother sobbing in court.
The family left court early on Wednesday to conserve their strength ahead of Thursday's testimony from the medical examiner, who is expected to describe the condition of Celeste's body in even greater detail.
Steinfeld explained that Tuesday was incredibly tough for the family, and Thursday will be even harder, so they made the difficult decision to leave early and prepare themselves for what's still to come.
