Courtney Robertson Demands Child and Spousal Support in Divorce
Courtney Robertson, known from 'The Bachelor,' has filed for divorce from her husband Humberto Preciado, seeking monthly payments for their three children and spousal support. The couple was married for nearly six years, but Courtney says their relationship has hit a dead end.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, Courtney Robertson states that the marriage is 'irretrievably broken' and reconciliation is impossible. She asks the court to order her husband to pay child support for their three young children — sons Joaquin and Gabriel, and daughter Paloma, aged between two and six.
Beyond financial demands, Courtney wants to share decision-making authority with her husband regarding the kids, but ultimately wants the final say. She also insists on a parenting schedule that serves the children's best interests.
The lawsuit also mentions the division of marital assets and a request that Humberto cover her attorney's fees and costs. It seems the split will not be an easy one.
As previously reported, Courtney filed for divorce after learning information that 'irreparably damaged the trust' in their marriage. She told People about it but did not specify what it was. However, it is clear there is no hope of saving the family.
For reality TV fans, this news came as a surprise: Courtney and Humberto always seemed like a happy couple. Now they face a divorce process with asset division and child custody arrangements.
