Crispin Glover's Ex Accuses Him of Assault
Former girlfriend of actor Crispin Glover has filed new court documents in her ongoing lawsuit, claiming he attacked her when she tried to rescue her cats from his Los Angeles home. The woman, whose name has not been disclosed, said Glover locked her out of the bedroom, and when she lawfully entered to retrieve her pets, he physically assaulted her and falsely reported her to police as an intruder.
According to the woman, she moved from the UK to LA to be with Glover, but after their relationship soured in early 2024, he allowed her to collect her belongings. However, when she came for her cats, he attacked her. As a result, she spent a few nights in jail after being arrested based on his complaint.
The woman also claims Glover filed a restraining order against her, but it was dismissed when he failed to show up in court. After the alleged assault, she says he continued to monitor her social media, sent her birthday wishes, and expressed regret that things didn't work out between them.
In her lawsuit, she accuses Glover of trying to turn her into his personal "sex slave" and of waging a smear campaign that severely damaged her reputation and mental health. She says she feels traumatized and extremely unsafe.
Glover has denied the allegations, calling them an extortion attempt. He claims the relationship was consensual and that the woman began acting erratically, telling people they had an Islamic wedding. He also accused her of threatening and physically attacking him.
The scandal unfolds against the backdrop of Glover's career, known for his role in "Back to the Future." His eccentric persona and unusual roles have always attracted attention, but now he finds himself at the center of legal proceedings that could seriously impact his reputation.
It remains unclear how the case will proceed, but both sides are determined. The woman's lawyers insist Glover must be held accountable, while the actor denies all accusations. The trial promises to be high-profile.
