D4vd: Blood Traces Found in Singer's Garage

During the second day of preliminary hearings in the murder case of Celeste Rivas, a forensic criminalist with the LAPD's forensic science division, Lauren Wallace, testified that the garage rented by musician D4vd contained possible blood stains. The testimony took place in a Los Angeles courtroom and added a new twist to the high-profile case.

Wallace stated that experts used BLUESTAR tests, which can detect even trace amounts of biological material. Positive results were found near the Tesla charger and the rowing machine. Additionally, a trash bag in the garage also tested positive for possible blood.

The floor conditions drew particular attention: it was covered with black rubber interlocking mats, which showed significant damage, including seven linear cuts consistent with a sharp object. The mats themselves also reacted positively when treated with the reagent.

During the search, investigators also found an inflatable pool containing a dryer sheet, and the pool smelled like laundry detergent. A green tarp with red stains, disinfectant wipes, and two chainsaws were also discovered. However, Wallace noted that the chainsaws tested negative for blood.

Deputy District Attorney Beth Silverman asked Wallace whether a Makita 10-inch chainsaw, which D4vd allegedly ordered via Postmates on May 4, 2025, had been found. The criminalist replied that it had not. The singer, present in court, appeared unfazed, simply observing the proceedings without visible reaction.

As previously reported, D4vd is charged with the murder of Celeste Rivas, whose dismembered body was found last September in the front trunk of his Tesla. The trial continues, and these new testimonies could be pivotal in reaching a verdict.
