D4vd Murder Case: 'Celeste' Tattoo Revealed in Court

During the first day of preliminary hearings in the murder case of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas, chilling details emerged. It turned out that musician D4vd still had a tattoo with the name of the deceased girl on his left ring finger at the time of his arrest. This fact shocked those present in the courtroom.

An investigator testifying on Tuesday confirmed that the inscription 'Celeste' was found on the singer's finger during booking. In addition, he had a 'Shhh' tattoo on his right index finger and a religious symbol on his right palm. The prosecution displayed photos of the faded tattoos, and D4vd, looking at them, appeared calm, stroking his chin.

These tattoos are particularly significant because, according to the prosecution, Celeste herself had D4vd's name on her left ring finger and a matching 'Shhh' tattoo. Earlier, the girl's mother and the medical examiner identified these marks. Prosecutors allege that after killing and dismembering the victim, the musician removed the finger bearing his name and her pinky.

The hearing also raised questions about D4vd's purchases. As previously reported, he allegedly ordered two chainsaws on Amazon after Celeste's death. However, an investigator stated on Tuesday that one of them was never recovered. This discrepancy could become an important point in the case.

Separately, a witness testified about the artist's finances. According to estimates, D4vd earned about $12 million between 2023 and 2025. It was also revealed that after signing with Interscope in 2022, he received an advance of approximately $600,000, followed by larger payments.

Celeste's family attended the hearing and, despite the shocking evidence, did not look away from the screen. D4vd, who was in the courtroom in shackles but not handcuffed, continues to maintain his innocence. Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman confirmed that the prosecution does not rule out the possibility of the death penalty.
