Ex-JPMorgan Banker Files Bombshell Lawsuit Alleging Sex Coercion and Racism

A former JPMorgan Chase banker, Chirayu Rana, has expanded his explosive lawsuit against the bank's executives, accusing managing director Lorna Hajdini of sexual coercion and other staff of racial discrimination. The case, initially filed in April under a pseudonym, has now been updated with more graphic allegations.

According to court documents, in September 2024, Lorna Hajdini, allegedly drunk and naked, demanded Rana and a witness participate in a threesome at a relative's apartment. When the witness refused, Hajdini claimed she "owned" Rana and pressured him into sex. The witness heard Rana begging her to stop, and afterward he was visibly shaken.

Rana also alleges Hajdini spiked his drink with a "performance-enhancing substance" after he struggled to perform sexually. He claims she later bragged about adding "a little something" to his drink. The banker says he complied out of fear for his career.

Beyond sexual assault, Rana accuses JPMorgan and several employees of racial discrimination. He claims he was called racial slurs like "monkey" and "brown boy," told to use rupees for transactions, and threatened with immigration calls. His South Asian heritage was reportedly a constant target of degrading jokes.

Rana's lawyer, Jon Norinsberg, stated the lawsuit aims to hold the bank accountable for tolerating blatant racism. JPMorgan previously offered $1 million to settle, but Rana rejected it. The bank denies the allegations, noting Rana refused to cooperate with their investigation.

Hajdini has countersued for defamation, but the case remains unresolved. The scandal has drawn widespread attention due to the severity of the claims against one of the world's largest financial institutions.
