Florida Man Sets Restaurant On Fire With Propane Tank

In Tampa, Florida, a 53-year-old man caused a fire in a restaurant using a propane tank. According to local authorities, the suspect, identified as Rubiel Maceo Castillo, was captured on surveillance video carrying a flaming tank inside the establishment.

The incident occurred on Tuesday when police received a report of a man attacking patrons. Deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrived to find Castillo standing in the middle of the flames, armed with two knives. Body camera footage shows him brandishing the weapons as fire raged around him.

Officers drew their guns and ordered the man to drop the knives. After his arrest, one deputy used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the incident.

Castillo now faces charges of arson, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and criminal mischief. The motive for the attack remains unclear, and the investigation is ongoing.
