Geno Smith Battery Investigation Photos Released

The Davie Police Department has released images showing the injuries sustained by Geno Smith and his female employee during an incident at his home. The photos come just after the investigation was shelved due to lack of evidence.

The woman, who worked as a manager/caretaker, claimed Smith grabbed, choked, and hit her to keep her away from his home after dropping off his son. Smith, on the other hand, said the woman punched and scratched his face after taking $20 million in jewelry and watches, and he only grabbed her to escort her off his property.

As previously reported, Smith handed over Ring footage but said he did not know how to access his security camera clips. Neither side wanted to provide sworn statements when officers intended to follow up.

The incident was sparked by a child drop-off gone wrong, and the woman made a 911 call claiming Smith roughed her up. The battery case is now "inactive" as of Tuesday, with no arrests or charges for either party.

This incident adds to a series of off-field issues for Smith, who is trying to secure a spot with the Jets. While no charges were filed, the negative publicity could affect his reputation and standing with the team.
