Jared Leto Accused of Harassment: New Details from Bartender

More troubling allegations have emerged against Jared Leto, as another woman has come forward with a disturbing story about her encounter with the musician. Gracelisa Akers, who worked as a bartender in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2011, claims the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman was pushy and refused to take no for an answer.

The incident allegedly took place in April 2011, when the band performed in Grand Rapids. Akers, then 25, says Leto noticed her and sent someone to invite her to meet him. She agreed to go to his dressing room, unaware of what would follow. Leto, who claims to be a germaphobe, greeted her with an elbow bump instead of a handshake, but later, according to Akers, acted quite differently.

In the dressing room, where other band members and staff were present, Leto allegedly became overly familiar. Gracelisa Akers told Page Six that he touched her, played with her hair, put his hands on her waist and hips, and tried to hold her hand, despite her clear disinterest. When she declined his offer of a drink, he seemed irritated. She decided to leave when the group planned to go to Denny's.

But the ordeal didn't end there. Akers claims Jared Leto followed her to her car and cornered her, preventing her from leaving. He allegedly tried to pull her toward him and suggested they skip Denny's and go to the tour bus instead. Akers, who is 5 feet tall compared to Leto's 5'9", felt trapped and uncomfortable, but managed to get in her car and drive away. She insists there was no physical violence, but the experience was frightening.

Later that night, she received a barrage of texts from Leto, asking her to come back, and the next morning, an invitation to breakfast. Two months later, she received a nearly nude selfie of Leto with a towel around his waist, captioned with a hotel room number in New York and the message 'hurry up, I'm waiting.' Akers replied that he had the wrong Grace.

Akers deleted the messages and photos but kept his number, which Page Six verified as belonging to Leto. The musician has not yet responded to these new claims. This adds to a growing list of misconduct allegations against Leto, and old tweets from Dylan Sprouse and James Gunn about him have resurfaced online. As the public awaits his response, the pattern of behavior described by Akers raises serious concerns about the star's conduct.
