Jared Leto Faces New Sexual Misconduct Allegations From Four Women

Actor and musician Jared Leto is once again at the center of a scandal. Four women have accused him of sexual misconduct and assault that allegedly occurred when they were teenagers. These stories are part of a BBC investigation published in the documentary “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret.”

According to the report, one alleged victim claims Leto assaulted her in a motel bathroom when she was 17. Another woman says the actor threatened to sexually assault her, leaving her alone in a hotel room at age 19. A third victim stated she had sex with Leto in California when she was 17, which constitutes statutory rape under state law. Leto reportedly dismissed a discussion about the age of consent being 18.

A fourth woman said Leto groomed her and made explicit phone calls when she was just 16. During one call, he allegedly asked for sex and even sent a non-disclosure agreement to prevent her from speaking, but she refused to sign it.

In addition to these four cases, four other women have come forward with similar allegations, claiming Leto made inappropriate phone calls to them when they were underage. In total, 10 women have spoken about their negative experiences with the actor. Nine of them shared their stories for the first time in the BBC documentary.

All incidents reportedly occurred between 2002 and 2016, when Leto was in his 30s and 40s. He is now 54. Representatives for Jared Leto have not yet responded to media requests. The scandal could have serious repercussions for the career of the Oscar-winning star, known for films like “Suicide Squad” and “Dallas Buyers Club.”
