John Cena Gets Two Hair Transplants, Shows Off Results
Wrestling legend and actor John Cena has shared an exciting update about his appearance. Over the weekend, he appeared at San Diego Comic-Con with a fresh buzz cut, replacing his signature combover. The 48-year-old star revealed he underwent two hair transplants and is thrilled with the outcome.
At the event promoting his film Matchbox: The Movie, Cena explained that he decided on the procedure to restore his hair density. He had the first transplant 15 months ago and recently completed a second round to address a small remaining spot. His doctor, Ken Anderson, was praised as a "master" and a life-changer.
The procedures used the FUE method, where hair follicles are transplanted one by one. The first operation lasted 13.5 hours, while the second took 8 hours. Cena noted that Dr. Anderson works faster and more efficiently when the patient shaves their head, which is why he opted for a bald look before the second session.
Earlier this year, Cena went completely bald during his hair loss treatments. Fans had previously criticized his thinning hair, but now the actor feels confident in his decision. "I'm rocking this short hair with the promise that the process is working. I fully trust the doctor," he said. He also thanked the staff at Anderson Center for Hair for their support.
Hair transplants are common among celebrities, but not everyone opts for a second procedure. Cena emphasized that the results exceeded expectations, boosting his self-esteem. On social media, fans praised his new look, calling it a good fit for him.
Currently, John Cena is busy filming new projects, including Matchbox: The Movie. He also continues his charity work, regularly participating in events for children. His journey inspires many facing hair loss issues.
