King Charles Met Prince Harry and Meghan for First Time in 4 Years

On Friday, a long-awaited family reunion took place: King Charles III met with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children for the first time in over four years. The event was kept quiet, but British media quickly caught wind of it.

According to ITV journalist Chris Ship, the meeting occurred at Highgrove House, the King and Queen Camilla's residence in southwest England. Ship described it as a "private family occasion," so no official photos or further details are expected.

Harry and Meghan were in the UK for the Invictus Games, the sporting event for wounded veterans that Harry founded. In 2023, he even performed a song at the ceremony. This time, Harry was active in Birmingham, while Meghan stayed in the background, visiting as a private citizen.

For the King, it was the first time seeing his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, since 2022, when Lilibet was just a year old. Now aged 7 and 5, the children have grown up considerably, and Charles and Camilla have missed many milestones.

Notably, there was no reunion between Prince William and Harry; the brothers are still not speaking. However, even this step is seen as a positive sign for the royal family.
