Lindsay Clancy Trial: Mom Accused of Killing 3 Kids Gets Support from Ex-Husband

The high-profile murder trial of Lindsay Clancy, a Massachusetts mother accused of killing her three young children, entered its second day with emotional testimony from her ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, who defended her actions as stemming from severe postpartum mental illness.

The tragedy unfolded in January 2023 at the family home in Duxbury. Prosecutors allege that Lindsay Clancy used elastic workout bands to strangle her children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan — before attempting suicide. She survived and has been in custody since.
