Man in Bong Costume Crashes New Jersey Township Meeting

In New Jersey, a township committee meeting took an unexpected turn when a man known as Bongholeo showed up in a giant purple bong costume and put on quite a show. His stunt was captured on video and quickly spread across social media, sparking lively reactions.

When it was his turn to speak, Bongholeo approached the podium, spelled out his name, and introduced his son, Bongholito. Then he launched into a parody of Lizzo's "About Damn Time," singing "It's big bong o'clock / yeah, it's hit thirty." The performance lasted a full three and a half minutes, but only one person in the audience seemed even remotely amused.

After finishing the song, Bongholeo immediately left the podium, as if that was his only goal. The rest of the attendees appeared unimpressed, watching with bewilderment.

This is not Bongholeo's first appearance at a public meeting: in October 2024, he was kicked out of an Edison council meeting after criticizing the panel. That time, he also drew attention, but his stunt was not as flashy.

The incident has once again raised questions about acceptable behavior at official meetings. While such antics may seem harmless, they can disrupt proceedings and distract from important matters. At the same time, these stunts often go viral, bringing their creators fame.

It remains unclear whether Bongholeo plans to attend other meetings, but his name is now etched in many people's memories. Perhaps he will become a recurring guest at such events, adding a bit of chaos.
