Marcellus Wiley Ordered to Pay Bank Over $500K for Unpaid Loan

Former NFL star and TV host Marcellus Wiley has been ordered by a court to pay Preferred Bank more than half a million dollars for a loan he never repaid. According to court documents, the total amount, including interest, attorney fees, and other costs, comes to $549,429.82.

The bank filed its lawsuit back in December, long before Wiley's recent domestic violence arrest. The bank claimed that Wiley took out the loan in May 2023, promising to repay it within a year, but failed to do so. Now a judge has ruled in favor of the bank, ordering full repayment.
