Marcellus Wiley Responds to Wife's Divorce Allegations

Former NFL star Marcellus Wiley has publicly addressed the explosive divorce filing by his wife Annemarie, who accused him of domestic violence and obtained a temporary restraining order. In a statement on X, the athlete called the allegations against him "flat out false" and insisted his top priority has always been protecting his children.

Wiley claims he is actually the victim, alleging that Annemarie placed a "voodoo spell" on his family, committed "serious and damaging parenting failures," and "lost her mind" after being fired from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." He added that he never wanted their family issues to become public but knew it was inevitable.

A judge granted Annemarie's request for a domestic violence temporary restraining order. Under the order, Wiley must have no contact with Annemarie, stay away from her and their three children, move out of the family's Encino home, and currently has no visitation rights while Annemarie has temporary sole custody.

As reported, Wiley was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after an incident at a Florida hotel over the weekend. In her restraining order declaration, Annemarie alleged a "continuing and escalating pattern of physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal and emotional abuse, financial control and intimidation." She also claimed Wiley raped her in 2012 and punched her in the face in 2014, leaving a black eye.

Wiley denies all allegations and says he will present evidence to "truthfully document what they and I have endured." He stated he was forced to respond with evidence rather than emotion due to the public nature of the accusations.

The high-profile divorce of Marcellus and Annemarie Wiley has drawn significant media attention due to the serious allegations and Annemarie's reality TV background. Both parties are preparing for legal battles ahead.
