Michael Cohen and Donald Trump Are Reconciling After Feud

Former Donald Trump attorney Michael Cohen has said that he and the ex-president are on the path to reconciliation. According to Cohen, both sides have decided to put past grievances aside and move forward, though the details of their future relationship remain unclear.

According to The New York Times, the first meeting between Trump and Cohen took place last summer at Trump's golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. The conversation was brief but symbolic. Later this year, a second, longer and more personal talk occurred at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

Cohen himself confirmed to the publication that both meetings indeed took place. He noted that they are "reconciling" and "putting the past aside." However, the former lawyer did not disclose what topics were discussed during these negotiations.

Recall that Cohen was a key prosecution witness in the hush-money trial that concluded in 2024. At that time, Trump, still a presidential candidate, was found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records. Cohen's testimony was one of the decisive factors in that case.

Recently, Cohen has changed his stance and stated that he felt pressured by prosecutors and was compelled to testify against Trump. This statement marked an unexpected turn in their prolonged conflict.

Notably, on Sunday Cohen launched his own radio show on a network that The New York Times describes as "Trump-friendly." Perhaps this is another step toward fully restoring relations between the former allies.

The White House has not yet commented on the situation, but observers note that the reconciliation of such figures could have far-reaching consequences for U.S. political life.
