Mother Accused of Killing Twins and Blaming Vaccines Gets Surprising Support

A woman from Idaho, accused of killing her 18-month-old twins and blaming their deaths on vaccinations, has received surprising support from a medical professional at her bond hearing. However, it didn't help her avoid jail.

Andrea Shaw faces two counts of first-degree murder after allegedly suffocating her children in May 2025. She then claimed they died from adverse reactions to routine vaccinations.

Initially, bail was set at $2 million. Shaw's lawyer argued for a reduction to $100,000 on Wednesday, but the judge revoked her bail entirely.

According to court documents, a registered nurse named Angela Wulbrecht became interested in the case after hearing about the deaths and offered her support to the Shaw family. Wulbrecht claims she got to know Shaw well and that Shaw showed only grief over her children's deaths.

Wulbrecht also revealed that Shaw became pregnant again after the tragedy and was terrified of routine medical tests. Shaw gave birth just days before her arrest on July 7.

Despite the defense's arguments and the nurse's support, the judge revoked bail, stating that Shaw poses a danger to her newborn child.

The next court hearing is scheduled for August 18, where Shaw is expected to enter a plea.
