Nikki Bella Says She's Celibate After Cooper DeJean Romance
WWE star Nikki Bella has revealed that her love life is currently on the back burner. In an interview with Us Weekly ahead of SummerSlam, she joked that she's become "like a nun" and is living a "super celibate" lifestyle while focusing on her busy schedule. She even said she might as well put on a ring.
"I'm pretty much like a nun at this point. Super celibate. I should just put on a ring," Bella quipped. She added that she wishes she could "get wild" but simply doesn't have the energy. The comments come amid rumors of her romance with Philadelphia Eagles star Cooper DeJean, which surfaced in January, but the pair haven't been spotted together for months.
Nikki is certainly busy: she unretired from WWE this year, runs a wine company, and co-hosts a podcast with her twin sister Brie. She's also a single mom to 5-year-old Matteo, whom she shares with ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev. Their divorce was finalized in fall 2024 after Chigvintsev's arrest on domestic violence charges, though prosecutors later declined to pursue the case.
Interestingly, Brie Bella is trying to help her sister get back into dating. In the same interview, Brie said Nikki is quite tied up, but she "still keeps her eyes open" and sees "some prospects." This gives fans hope that Nikki will find a worthy partner when she's ready.
For now, Nikki's focus is on the ring. At SummerSlam this Saturday, she'll team up with her sister Brie and Paige in a six-woman tag team match against Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid). It's a big return to the ring, and fans are eager to see the legendary trio in action.
Rumors about her romance with Cooper DeJean were widely discussed in the media earlier this year, but neither party officially confirmed the relationship. Perhaps Nikki decided to take a break from dating to focus on herself and her son, which is understandable after a high-profile divorce and a return to sports.
