Nolan Wells Death: Police Search Friends' Boats

The investigation into the death of 17-year-old Nolan Wells from Mississippi has taken a new turn. It has been revealed that the parents of his friend allowed police to search their boat as part of the evidence gathering. This step may shed light on the circumstances of the tragedy that shocked the local community.

According to TMZ, officers gained access to the vessel after Nolan's mother reported him missing on July 4. The teenager went with friends to Horn Island but never returned home. His body was found on July 6 near the spot where he was last seen.

Nolan's friends claimed that he decided to stay on the island to spend time with a girl named Katie. However, Katie told police that Nolan planned to return by boat with his friends. This contradiction has become key to the investigation.

On July 8, investigators met with Jerry Adkerson and Jennifer Pyron—the grandfather and mother of one of Nolan's friends. According to the report, Jerry signed a document allowing the search of their boat and the retrieval of GPS data. The permission form states that the owner agreed to the removal of any items that might be important to the probe.

Additionally, police obtained data from the boat of another man named Bart Edmiston Jr. Investigators also visited the home of a woman named Laney, who was initially reported to have been on Horn Island with Nolan's group. However, Laney stated that on July 4 she was on a different island with a different group of friends.

Official conclusions about the cause of Nolan Wells' death have not yet been released. Local residents and internet users are actively discussing possible versions of what happened, while the family hopes for a fair investigation.
