Nolan Wells' Mom Subpoenas Social Media for Son's Data

The mother of the late Nolan Wells has launched a legal battle to access his social media accounts. Christine Wells-Wonsley filed subpoenas for data from Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Life360, Snapchat, and TikTok, as reported by TMZ.

She is determined to uncover the circumstances of her son's death. Nolan disappeared on July 4 after partying with friends on Horn Island, and his body was later found. The exact cause of death remains unclear, and Christine believes digital clues could shed light on his final hours.

Court documents reveal that Christine had already tried to track Nolan's movements using the Life360 app. She compared location data from Snapchat with the tracker and found inconsistencies, which prompted her to seek official data from the platforms.

The subpoenas request a wide range of information: all current and past usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, login records, password resets, and metadata. They also demand IP addresses tied to friend events and identifying information of conversation participants.

Additionally, Christine seeks all posts, stories, chats, messages, direct messages, photos, videos, text files, GPS data, friend list history, and other stored data. The scope of the request underscores her determination to get to the truth.

Friends of Nolan told investigators that he did not leave the island with them, claiming he planned to stay behind with a girl. Now Christine is trying to piece together the events through digital evidence, and the outcome could set a precedent for other families in similar situations.
