Nolan Wells: New Photo May Prove Teen Made It Back to Mainland

Attorney Ben Crump, representing the family of Nolan Wells, continues to investigate the tragic death of the teenager. A photo circulating on social media may indicate that Nolan managed to return to the Mississippi mainland before his death. Crump shared the image, which shows a group of teens at a pool party, and many believe one of them is Nolan.

The snapshot is believed to have been taken before 1 a.m. on July 5. Crump reposted it from an account called Shannel Tarot TV, captioning it: "Now listen, I don't know if these are facts or rumors because no official statements have been confirmed. We sometimes have to follow all clues until the truth is found." This cautious statement underscores the attorney's approach to avoiding premature conclusions.

However, Nolan's friend, Tracestin Shepherd, refuted this version. In an interview with Rolling Stone, he claimed the photo was not from July 5 but from a pool party on June 27, merely posted on the 5th. The magazine reportedly obtained metadata from another person, as well as other group photos from that same night. Tracestin, who did not attend the party, identified people in the picture and pointed out Nolan.

Shepherd called the pool party theory misinformation, describing it as "unbelievable" and "heartbreaking." He emphasized that spreading such rumors only deepens the pain for the family and friends. This situation illustrates how quickly unverified information spreads on social media and can mislead the public.

As a reminder, Nolan Wells disappeared on July 4 during a trip with friends to Horn Island. His friends returned home, but he did not. His body was later found in the water near the island. The family hired Ben Crump to conduct an independent investigation, as they believe there are inconsistencies in the official account. Crump, a prominent civil rights attorney, has repeatedly expressed distrust of Mississippi authorities.

On TMZ Live Thursday, Crump reiterated his lack of confidence in local law enforcement, calling for a thorough and transparent investigation into Nolan's death. The family hopes that new evidence, including this photo, will help shed light on the tragedy.

The story of Nolan Wells has sparked widespread public reaction. Many social media users express condolences and demand justice. However, as the photo incident shows, it is crucial to wait for official confirmations to avoid spreading false information. As the investigation continues, the family and attorney urge anyone with information to come forward.
