Patrick Peterson Opposes Tom Brady's WWE Move: 'Just Let It Be'

Former NFL star cornerback Patrick Peterson has spoken out against the potential appearance of legendary quarterback Tom Brady in WWE wrestling. In his view, the seven-time Super Bowl champion should stick to football rather than stepping into the ring.

Peterson, a three-time First-team All-Pro, shared his thoughts at Billy "Swagga" Vance's charity golf invitational. He noted that he knows Brady well and respects him as a tough player, but believes WWE is not his path. "Tom doesn't want to go to WWE. He's a quarterback, and I know Tom is a tough guy. But WWE, Tom? Just let it be," Peterson said.

Rumors of Brady's possible WWE involvement emerged after reports of negotiations between him and the organization. Earlier, Tom Brady and Logan Paul discussed a potential showdown in the ring, but Peterson thinks Brady should stay out of it.

Peterson also recalled that Brady is a "hard-nosed Michigan man," but emphasized that wrestling requires a different approach. "Those Michigan men wear their hearts on their sleeves, but WWE is different," he added.

Despite Peterson's warning, negotiations between Brady and WWE continue. TMZ previously reported that the parties are actively discussing the quarterback's possible appearance on the show. If the deal goes through, it would be one of the biggest crossovers between sports and entertainment.

Peterson, who retired from the NFL in 2022, also weighed in on the grass vs. turf debate for NFL stadiums. He acknowledged it's an important issue for players and expressed hope the league will make the right decision.
