Prince William Grows Cautious of Harry After King Charles Reunion

Prince William Grows Cautious of Harry After King Charles Reunion

Prince Harry's reunion with King Charles III went so well that the royal family is already discussing a larger get-together. However, Prince William remains cautious about the prospect. Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet met with Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House earlier this month—a monumental moment for the estranged family.

Despite the warm meeting with his father, Prince Harry has yet to regain his brother's trust. Although Harry was just miles away during his UK visit, the brothers did not make time to see each other. A source told Us Weekly: "William has become cautious." Rebuilding trust will take more than a simple conversation.

However, the insider noted that William and Kate Middleton appreciated Meghan's gesture of bringing the children to meet the king. Kate values harmony and would support reconciliation, but she respects her husband's emotional state and timeline. "She would love for things to come together and be repaired, but will support William and his timeline," the source added.

After four years of estrangement, the Sussexes' visit was a significant olive branch. There is even a possibility that Harry and Meghan could be invited to the family's holiday celebrations. "That idea has been floated as a possibility, so that William and Kate and their kids could see them at the next visit," the insider shared.

Despite optimistic signals, experts warn that even an invitation won't solve everything at once. "There's still a lot of hurt, and it's going to take time to heal. Meetings can be reassuring, but they won't change things too dramatically. The relationship between Harry and William will never be what it used to be," the source concluded.

Amid King Charles's cancer battle, many hope the family can unite. If the brothers can at least be in the same room, it might open the door to gradual healing. For now, the public wonders whether the long-awaited reconciliation will happen.
