Texas Congressman Wesley Hunt found himself in an awkward situation after a photo of him with the Tate brothers surfaced online, taken just before their arrest. Journalists tried to ask the politician if he regretted posing for the picture, but Hunt avoided answering.

The incident happened on Tuesday on Capitol Hill when TMZ correspondent Charlie Cotton attempted to question the congressman about his reaction to the arrest of Andrew and Tristan Tate. However, Hunt, without hearing the full question, replied "no comment" and hurried into a luxury SUV, slamming the door in the reporter's face.

Recall that the Daily Mail published a photo showing Wesley Hunt smiling broadly while standing between the Tate brothers in his office. The picture was taken last week when the Tates visited Capitol Hill. Given the brothers' arrest on charges filed in the UK, this photo has raised many questions.

Politicians often take photos with all sorts of people, and it's possible Hunt didn't think much of it. However, it's worth noting that at the time of the photo, the Tate brothers were already under investigation: they faced a total of 21 charges in the UK, with additional ones announced on Saturday.

Nevertheless, the congressman could have clarified the situation but instead chose to avoid the conversation. Such behavior only fuels public interest in the incident and makes people wonder about possible connections between politicians and controversial figures.

The Tate brothers, known as influencers and former athletes, have repeatedly been at the center of scandals. Their arrest in the UK on charges of sexual offenses and human trafficking has drawn significant media attention, and now any mention of their name causes resonance.
