Robert Downey Jr.'s Daughter Lands First TV Role

Avri Downey, the 11-year-old daughter of Hollywood star Robert Downey Jr., is taking her first steps into show business. The girl has signed a contract to appear in a new television project, and as it has become known, her fee for one day of filming was $1,246.

According to documents obtained by journalists, Avri will play a cameo role in a series titled "Oswald." In the contract, her character is listed as "Family Photo Kid" — apparently, this is a small but plot-relevant scene. The agreement itself was signed last year.

The sum of $1,246 per day looks modest compared to her father's fees — for example, for filming "Avengers: Doomsday," Robert Downey Jr. reportedly received around $100 million. However, for a budding actress, this is a decent start, and as they say, every journey begins with a single step.

Interestingly, Avri's contract includes a clause requiring all cast members to behave professionally and avoid scandals during production. This is standard practice for projects involving minors, especially those from prominent families.

It is not yet entirely clear which project this is, but all signs point to the Disney series "Oswald the Lucky Rabbit," directed by Jon Favreau. Favreau is a longtime friend of the Downey family: he directed Robert in the first Iron Man films, which brought the actor worldwide fame.

Avri's involvement in Favreau's project seems logical — the director maintains warm relations with Downey Jr. and apparently decided to give a chance to the young heiress of the acting dynasty. For Avri, this is her first serious television job, and fans are already wondering whether she will follow in her father's footsteps.

Robert Downey Jr. has three children, and Avri is his youngest daughter. The actor has often said that family is his top priority and he supports any endeavors of his children. So perhaps we will soon see more of Avri's work on screen.
