Shania Twain Missed Taylor Swift's Wedding for Harry Styles Concert

Shania Twain has revealed she couldn't attend the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, even though she desperately wanted to see the culmination of their love story in person. The reason? She had prior commitments: she was opening for Harry Styles at Wembley Stadium in London the same weekend.

In an interview with the Canadian TV channel eTalk, the country singer admitted she received an invitation to the 'wedding of the century' but couldn't simply cancel a planned show. 'It don't impress me much to drop out,' she joked, referencing her hit song. Instead of packing into Madison Square Garden with the A-list crowd, she stayed across the pond and performed.

Shania Twain emphasized that she would have done almost anything to be at the ceremony, but she's a woman of her word, and her schedule simply didn't allow it. She added that she was disappointed, but the London audience, she said, got an unforgettable show.

The situation is especially intriguing given that Taylor Swift and Harry Styles dated back in the early 2010s. However, it seems all is water under the bridge now: Harry also received an invitation to the wedding, and even his fiancée Zoë Kravitz managed to attend.

In a joking manner, Shania noted that she has now set a new rule for Harry: if he wants her at his wedding, he should invite her well in advance. She hinted she wouldn't want to be in a similar situation again.
