Shia LaBeouf Tells Ex FKA Twigs: Stop Playing Games in Court

Actor Shia LaBeouf is embroiled in a fresh legal battle with his ex-girlfriend, singer FKA Twigs. The celebrity has asked a court to compel his former partner to honor the terms of their prior settlement and move their dispute into closed arbitration, rather than airing it in public.

According to court documents, LaBeouf claims FKA Twigs is trying to invalidate the confidentiality provisions of their 2025 deal, which barred both parties from bad-mouthing each other. The actor says the singer has made "numerous inflammatory and irrelevant accusations" in her lawsuit and believes she wants to continue attacking him publicly through court filings.

In his motion, LaBeouf asks the judge to force FKA Twigs to resolve their differences in private arbitration as stipulated in the earlier settlement. He argues this would keep the case out of the public court system and away from media scrutiny.

The actor also takes issue with an interview FKA Twigs gave to The Hollywood Reporter months after the settlement was signed, which he says implied she still did not feel safe around him.

In her original lawsuit, FKA Twigs accused LaBeouf of abuse during their relationship and claimed he knowingly infected her with an STI, which he adamantly denied.

The exes had settled that case, but earlier this year FKA Twigs filed a new lawsuit asking the judge to declare the non-disclosure provisions of the agreement unenforceable. Now LaBeouf is pushing back, insisting that all disputes should be handled privately and asking the court to stop her from taking the fight public.
