Rapper Soulja Boy has officially requested a court-ordered paternity test, casting doubt on whether he is the father of a three-year-old boy named KeAndre Cortez Way. The request comes in response to a lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend Jackilyn Martinez, who is seeking child support and custody.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the musician also checked boxes indicating he would share the costs of the pregnancy and legal fees if the test confirms he is the father. This is a move that lawyers often advise to avoid additional accusations of evading parental responsibilities.

As previously reported, Jackilyn filed the lawsuit against the rapper in late 2025. She asked the court to grant her full custody of KeAndre, while proposing that the entertainer be awarded visitation rights. The woman claims that Soulja Boy occasionally sent her money, but only after she begged him to do so.

The lawsuit also includes an email that Jackilyn says the rapper sent to her legal team, in which he rudely tells her to stop contacting him about the case, using profanity. This incident could work against the musician if the case goes to a hearing.
