Stefon Diggs Accuser Claims NFL Star's Team Paid for His Flight

The man suing Stefon Diggs over alleged sexual assault claims the NFL star and his team flew him out for the weekend in question, according to new legal filings in the case.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Chris Griffith pushed back on Diggs' request to hand over records related to his trip to Washington, D.C. in May 2023, insisting Diggs already has that information.

Griffith alleges he was drugged and sexually assaulted by Diggs during the trip, which Diggs adamantly denies. The NFL star sued Griffith for defamation, and Griffith countersued with sexual assault allegations.

Griffith argues that Diggs' request for travel documents is absurd since Diggs and his team were responsible for making the travel arrangements. His lawyer stated, "To the extent travel arrangements, confirmations or related documents exist, they are at least equally within [Diggs'] possession, custody or control."

Griffith said he already produced 24 pages of texts with Diggs' support staff. On the night in question, he claims Diggs gave him a candy laced with a drug without his knowledge, then exposed himself and began masturbating. Griffith says he told Diggs to stop, but Diggs attempted to kiss him and whispered for him to come to his room. Griffith maintains he did not consent to any of the contact.

In his lawsuit, Griffith also claims Diggs ordered his brother Darez Diggs and two others to attack him a week after he rejected Diggs' advances. The legal battle began when Diggs sued Griffith for defamation over his claims.

Diggs' lawyer argued that Griffith engaged in "extreme and outrageous conduct" by knowingly publishing false statements accusing Diggs of violence, sexual assault, and other serious crimes, causing harm to his reputation. He sought unspecified damages.

As TMZ first reported, Griffith separately settled a $10 million lawsuit against his apartment complex and Darez over the alleged 2023 beatdown.
