Stefon Diggs Responds to Ex-Pal's Lawsuit Over Stolen Ferrari

Stefon Diggs Responds to Ex-Pal's Lawsuit Over Stolen Ferrari

NFL star Stefon Diggs is facing yet another legal battle, this time from a former acquaintance who claims Diggs falsely accused him of stealing his Ferrari and orchestrated an attack on him. According to TMZ, Diggs has already filed a motion to halt the proceedings.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Stefon Diggs asked a judge to pause the case filed by Nigel King. His lawyers argue that other defendants have not yet been served, and he cannot properly defend himself without their involvement. The lawsuit was filed in a Florida court in February against Diggs, his brother Darez Diggs, and three of their friends.

Nigel King claims he worked as a concierge and consultant, handling personal matters for high-net-worth clients like Stefon. He managed travel, vehicles, and other logistics. In July 2024, King arranged for Diggs' Ferrari to be transported from Miami to New York, but the car was stolen in a sophisticated theft by third parties. King was not charged, cited, or identified as a suspect by law enforcement.

After the incident, King says he continued interacting with Diggs socially and professionally without any apparent issues. However, in December 2024, Diggs allegedly began falsely accusing him of theft among friends. These accusations damaged his reputation and led to losing clients. King also claims Diggs' team confronted him on several occasions.

The lawsuit details an alleged confrontation on December 4, 2025, at Tootsie's Cabaret in Florida. King says Diggs' friend punched him in the face, causing bleeding and serious permanent injuries. In response, Diggs insists the case should not proceed until other defendants are served. He argues the claims cannot be fully and fairly evaluated without the alleged co-conspirators.

King opposes this request. The other defendants were finally served last month, and the case is ongoing. This is not Diggs' only legal trouble: TMZ previously reported he is also battling Christopher Griffith, who accuses him of drugging and sexually assaulting him. Griffith countersued, claiming Diggs assaulted him in 2023. Diggs denies all allegations.

The situation remains tense, and fans are closely watching developments. For Diggs' career, such scandals could have serious repercussions, especially given existing accusations. Experts note that similar lawsuits often drag on, and a final resolution may not come soon.
