Taylor Frankie Paul Accused of Parenting Issues in DCFS Filing

Reality TV star Taylor Frankie Paul is facing serious allegations from Utah's Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). The agency has filed a petition in juvenile court asking that her three children be found "abused, neglected, or dependent." The document, obtained by TMZ, raises concerns about her parenting skills, mental health, and home environment.

According to the petition, during a home visit in May 2026, Taylor told DCFS workers that her life coach, Kari, was "the only reason she was still alive" and that she wanted Kari to conduct her mental health and domestic violence assessments. However, the agency stated that Kari is not qualified for such evaluations. During the same visit, Taylor became upset after reading social media messages and stormed out, saying she was not suicidal but that officials "should know who killed her if she ends up dead because she felt no one believes her."

The filing also references a 2023 incident in which Taylor pleaded guilty to aggravated assault after video showed her throwing a metal chair at Dakota Mortensen while their daughter Indy was present. Additionally, it alleges that Indy changes Ever's diaper, prepares his bottle, and often hears Taylor and Dakota fighting, which makes her sad.

DCFS also claims that Ever sought comfort from Taylor's sister and nanny, Aspen, during home visits, and that Taylor became "escalated and dysregulated" when confronted about her progress. Taylor's therapist reportedly told DCFS that she had not begun meaningful treatment, did not seem invested in the program, and appeared to be attending therapy because she felt "forced" to do so.

A source close to Taylor commented on the leak: "The fact that this leaked speaks volumes on its own. Juvenile court is private to protect the children's interests, leaking this information does the exact opposite. Someone is clearly acting in their own interest, not the children's." The source added that the information is incomplete and does not include DCFS's documented concerns about the other side, which are on record in district court and with law enforcement.

Taylor's legal team has previously stated that she "remains fully committed to doing whatever is necessary" to resolve the dispute in juvenile court and appreciates DCFS's professionalism. Taylor Frankie Paul has not yet made public statements about the new allegations. The story has attracted attention from fans of the reality show where she became famous, and many are now following the situation closely.

Experts note that such cases often drag on, and the court will consider all circumstances, including the views of both sides. For Taylor, this is not the first scandal: she has previously been accused of domestic violence, and now new allegations could seriously impact her career and reputation. Fans are expressing support for both her and the children, hoping the situation will be resolved in the best interests of the minors.
