Taylor Lewan Addresses Swift Wedding Invite Snub: 'It's Not a Big Deal'

Former NFL player and podcast host Taylor Lewan has addressed rumors that he and co-host Will Compton were upset about not being invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding. Lewan stated that the couple has every right to invite 'whoever the hell they want' to their own ceremony.

Earlier, Compton said on their podcast 'Bussin' With The Boys' that he was 'flabbergasted' by the snub. Lewan then wondered if the guest list was a 'personal shot,' given that many random celebrities attended while he, a friend of the groom for 10 years, was overlooked.

It turned out to be a classic case of 'BSin' with the Boys'—their comments were just jokes that got picked up by the media. Lewan clarified on X that they were just having fun on the podcast, not actually offended.

'If you're getting married, you can invite whoever the f*** you want to your wedding. It doesn't matter who you do and don't invite, it's not about you,' Lewan wrote. He added that Travis and Taylor had 'phenomenal people' at the celebration and he holds no grudge.

Lewan also noted he probably couldn't have made it anyway because it was his daughter's birthday and the Fourth of July. He admitted that months earlier he had 'fully expected' an invite when asked by reporters.

But as he said, he's 'shaking it off'—a nod to Swift's song. The incident shows how innocent jokes can be misinterpreted by the media, especially when involving a high-profile couple like Swift and Kelce.
