Travis Scott Sued by Yacht Crew Over Alleged Miami Fight

Rapper Travis Scott is back in hot water as yacht crew members from a 2024 Miami charter have filed a lawsuit against him, claiming the luxury trip turned violent. The plaintiffs allege the musician's behavior turned a dream cruise into a nightmare.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Scott chartered a yacht in Miami in 2024, bringing along several women, security, and alcohol. The trouble began when he demanded to use a jet ski, but the captain refused, believing Scott was too intoxicated. Scott then ordered the captain to head to a nearby marina and abruptly jumped off the boat onto a dock, leaving his guests stranded for about 30 minutes.

When Scott returned, he was reportedly angry and confrontational. The captain decided to end the charter and told everyone to leave. At that point, the situation allegedly became physical: Travis Scott attacked the captain, threatened to kill him, and said he was "dead." Scott's own security tried to intervene, but the rapper allegedly fired the guard on the spot.

Additional marina workers rushed to help but were also targeted, according to the lawsuit. The plaintiffs claim Scott assaulted multiple workers and, as they tried to exit the yacht, charged at them, driving his shoulder into two crew members, sending one woman crashing into a table and injuring her.

The plaintiffs also allege Scott blocked them from leaving until police arrived. They are now suing for battery, assault, and false imprisonment, among other claims, and are seeking damages. This is not Scott's first legal trouble: he faced scrutiny after the Astroworld festival crowd surge, though he was not criminally charged in that case.

As previously reported, Scott was arrested after the Miami incident, but prosecutors later dropped disorderly intoxication and trespassing charges. This lawsuit, however, brings the alleged fallout into civil court, where the rapper may face financial consequences.

Representatives for Travis Scott have not yet commented on the lawsuit. The story has sparked widespread discussion online, with fans and critics debating the implications for Scott's career and public image.
