Jade Jones, a former Iowa State cheerleader, shared the happy news on social media, posting a photo of herself in a white dress holding a bouquet in front of the courthouse. The couple's love story began in 2019 when both were at Iowa State: Haliburton played for the Cyclones basketball team, and Jones was on the cheer squad. He proposed on campus in July 2025.
