Viral Nolan Wells Video Doesn't Show Fight, Owner Says

A viral video that allegedly captured a tense confrontation between Nolan Wells and another person on Horn Island just hours before his disappearance is not what it seems. The video's owner says it shows no altercation at all.

The owner told TMZ they were on Horn Island — the last place Nolan was seen alive — on July 4th and took the video to send to their spouse. After hearing about Nolan's disappearance, they posted it online hoping someone might identify him. But social media users began falsely claiming Nolan was in the video fighting with others.

The owner also said they heard about a verbal altercation on the island, but their video doesn't show that fight. Nolan's best friend, Jayvon Williams, confirmed on TMZ Live Friday that the alleged altercation did occur, but Nolan was not involved.

Despite what some on social media suggest, the fight is not in the viral video, according to the original owner. The owner also said the video was sent to Nolan's mother and the Sheriff's Department, but no further contact has been made by law enforcement, the family, or attorney Ben Crump.

This situation adds another contradiction to the Nolan investigation, which Ben Crump has been closely monitoring. In a TMZ Live interview on Thursday, he expressed concern about a possible cover-up by Mississippi authorities. The investigation remains ongoing.
