Jake Paul's MVP Merges with Professional Fighters League

Jake Paul continues to shake up the combat sports world: his company Most Valuable Promotions has officially merged with the Professional Fighters League. The news broke Thursday morning, and now both organizations will operate under the MVP banner, combining boxing, MMA, live events, athlete development, and content distribution under one roof.

Paul and his business partner Nakisa Bidarian will lead the new structure, with John Martin from PFL taking the CEO role. According to MVP, the company's philosophy remains unchanged — a fighter-first approach, fair pay, and building brands both inside and outside the cage.

As a result of the merger, MVP now boasts nearly 400 athletes in combat sports, and that number is expected to grow. Jake Paul has already said the deal accelerates his original mission by a decade: giving fighters fair compensation and a modern stage to become global superstars.

“We started MVP to disrupt a broken model,” Paul said. “Joining forces with PFL accelerates that vision. Now we have a scaled platform that gives fans what they want: elite talent mixed with culture, lifestyle, and massive social velocity.”

Jake Paul is clearly serious when he says MVP is a movement, not just a company. He has repeatedly criticized traditional boxing organizations for restrictive contracts and low pay, and now he has the resources to offer an alternative.

For PFL, this is also a significant step: the league, previously associated mainly with MMA, gains access to Paul's huge audience and media power. Experts are already calling the deal one of the most notable in the industry in recent years.

The big question is how other promotions, especially UFC, will react. But Jake Paul seems determined — and now he has all the tools to try to change the sport forever.
