Post Malone and Elmo Team Up for 'Sesame Street' Storm Special

American singer Post Malone has surprised fans with an unexpected creative partnership: he will appear in a special episode of the children's show 'Sesame Street' alongside Elmo and other Muppets. The artist will perform an adapted version of his hit, originally recorded with Morgan Wallen, now in the company of the famous street's residents.

The new special is titled 'Storm on Sesame Street' (originally 'Storm on Sesame Treat'). In the plot, the neighborhood's residents prepare for an approaching storm: they stock up on supplies and secure their homes. At that moment, Post Malone appears on the street and performs the song 'A Little Help' — a reworked version of his collaboration with Wallen, 'I Had Some Help,' but now in a more family-friendly, wholesome rendition.

The Muppets happily join in singing, and the number will be part of the special airing on streaming service Netflix and children's channel PBS KIDS. The premiere is set for August 3. Besides Post, comedian Michelle Buteau, known for her stand-up performances and roles in TV series, will also appear in the show.

The project is part of a new Sesame Workshop initiative aimed at helping children and families prepare for extreme weather events — floods, wildfires, and hurricanes.
