Bethenny Frankel Accused of Snubbing Jewelry Designer
Bethenny Frankel is facing backlash from another small business owner. Jewelry designer Amanda Rojas of The Candy Lace took to social media to accuse the reality star of repeatedly failing to credit her brand while wearing her necklaces.
In a video on June 29, Amanda claimed that since May, Bethenny has worn her pieces nearly 30 times without mentioning The Candy Lace. Instead, Frankel misattributed the jewelry to other brands like BaubleBar. 'It feels intentional, and I'm super disappointed,' Amanda wrote. Bethenny later corrected the caption, crediting The Candy Lace, but the designer says the issue persisted.
Amanda revealed that Bethenny initially offered to help promote her business and asked for more pieces. However, Frankel allegedly continued to omit the brand from her outfit videos while crediting every other label. 'My heart is broken; it feels pointed,' Amanda added.
The situation escalated when Bethenny's team demanded Amanda remove all references to the star, offering a paid partnership at $30,000 per post. Amanda claims she only sent jewelry after Bethenny promised support, which never materialized.
This isn't the first time Bethenny has faced such criticism. Earlier, she was called out by the founder of shoe brand Nou for similar behavior. Bethenny defended herself, stating she has no obligation to promote gifted items. The debate continues: should influencers credit small businesses without a contract?
