Bethenny Frankel Cuts Face with Glass Contouring Tool

Bethenny Frankel learned a painful lesson about trying new beauty products. The former Real Housewives of New York City star posted videos on Thursday showing her face bleeding after she accidentally sliced her jaw with a glass skincare tool.

Bethenny explained she bought the Nurse Jamie contouring device after seeing it promoted on social media. The tool, designed to relieve jaw tension from teeth grinding, has glass balls that rotate. But one of the glass tubes was chipped, and it cut her skin.

"Please don't believe every person who promotes something. This is so scary — I could have cut my neck or even my jugular," she warned followers. She showed the damaged tool and used a skin repair product to stop the bleeding.

Fans are relieved she's okay, but this incident is a cautionary tale about influencer marketing. Bethenny likely won't be using that product again.
