Celeste Rivas Murder: Shocking New Details from D4vd's Tesla

New details have emerged in the murder case of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas. On Wednesday, the second day of D4vd's preliminary hearing, shocking evidence was presented.

As previously reported, Celeste's dismembered body was found decomposing in the trunk of D4vd's Tesla in September after the car was towed to an impound lot. The singer, born David Anthony Burke, faces charges of first-degree murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, and unlawful mutilation of human remains.

Prosecutors allege D4vd killed Celeste in April 2025, then used chainsaws and other materials purchased on Amazon to dismember her body and store it in bags. Her remains may have been in the car for five months through the summer heat. How did the smell go unnoticed? Apparently, 11 air fresheners.

In court, LAPD criminalist Chelsea Murillo revealed that 11 air fresheners were found in the Tesla, scattered across the center console, rear seats, and front trunk where Celeste’s body was discovered. Murillo noted a strong odor from the trunk when she examined the car on September 9.
