Chris Brown Risks Tour Income Over $13 Million Dog Attack Debt

Former housekeeper of singer Chris Brown, Maria Avila, is pursuing nearly $13 million awarded by a court after a dog attack at the artist's home. She now targets earnings from his joint tour with Usher.

According to court documents, Avila claims Brown has made no effort to satisfy the judgment. She demands full access to the singer's financial records to seize the owed funds.

Maria notes that Chris is currently touring with Usher on The R&B Tour, where he receives substantial fees. She wants all payments from contracts, including tour income, other entertainment projects, and residuals, directed to her.

Additionally, Avila insists the court order Brown to appear in person for a financial examination. TMZ previously reported that the singer was ordered to pay this sum after a jury trial last month.

The incident occurred years ago when Brown's dog attacked the housekeeper, causing severe injuries. The court held the singer liable for damages, ordering compensation for physical and emotional harm.

If the court grants the motion, it could severely impact the artist's income just as he begins a major tour. For Brown, this is another financial and reputational blow following a series of scandals.
