Courtney Stodden Responds to Jason Alexander's Apology, Demands Action

Courtney Stodden thinks Jason Alexander's apology isn't enough. This week, she called out the Seinfeld star for a 2012 Funny or Die sketch where he inappropriately touched her when she was just 16. She called the experience "horrifying" and said she had no legal power to stop it.

In an interview with Variety, Courtney revealed she realized how offensive the video was years later while watching Pretty Woman. She saw a scene where Alexander's character assaults a prostitute and felt he "recreated that with a child." She said she was "very manipulated" and trusted the adults around her, which turned out to be damaging.

Jason Alexander has since apologized, but Courtney says it's not enough. She urged him to support California's AB 1267 bill banning child marriage and donate to Unchained at Last, a nonprofit fighting child marriage. Courtney herself married at 16 and has been advocating for legal changes since her divorce.

Courtney emphasized that her goal isn't to dwell on the past but to create a future where children are better protected and adults in power are held to higher standards. It remains to be seen if Jason Alexander will take further action.
