Disney Revives the Mickey Mouse Club: New Pilot in the Works

Disney+ has officially greenlit a pilot episode for a fresh reboot of the iconic Mickey Mouse Club. While it's just a pilot for now and not a full series order, fans are already buzzing with excitement.

According to Deadline, production will be handled by Fulwell Entertainment, with filming set to begin in Los Angeles later this month. As reported by People, the new show aims to spotlight "today's most talented young performers," focusing on music, innovation, and self-expression.

The new cast of Mouseketeers has been announced—11 young actors and singers: Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts, Yonas Kibreab, Erianthe Akaata, Scarlett London Diviney, Michael Cash, Varonica Mitchell, Kauani, Scarlett Grace Petty, and Carter Barnes.

The original series, which ran from 1989 to 1996, launched the careers of superstars like Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling, Keri Russell, and JC Chasez. Now, Disney hopes to strike gold again with a new generation of talent.
