Emma Roberts and Evan Peters Awkwardly Reunite Onstage Years After Split

Emma Roberts and Evan Peters found themselves side by side again, and it was painfully awkward. The former couple reunited onstage at the Disney Upfront showcase in New York City, where they announced a new cast member for Season 13 of American Horror Story. Co-stars Sarah Paulson, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, and Angela Bassett joined them, but no one acted as a buffer. Evan and Emma had to stand next to each other throughout the announcement. Cringe!

Their romance began on the set of the dramedy Adult World in 2012. They made their red carpet debut at the Golden Globes in January 2013. But things turned sour five months later when Emma was arrested after a domestic violence incident in a Montreal hotel. Police found Evan with a bloody nose, but he declined to press charges. The couple called it a misunderstanding.

Despite the incident, Evan proposed to Emma in 2014. They called off the engagement in June 2015 but continued dating on and off until 2019. During their time together, they worked on four seasons of American Horror Story. Now they're back as co-workers for the upcoming season.

Evan is currently single after splitting with Natalie Engel last year, while Emma is engaged to actor Cody John. So don't expect a romantic reunion this time!
